All of our counties are now included in ENHANCED risk for strong to severe storms. HAIL RISK has also increased!
This does NOT mean everyone will see hail or severe weather but you all need to be prepared. We have a strong line of storms moving in around 5:00pm from the west. All areas need to be weather aware, especially areas Abilene and south, including San Angelo.
Threats for damaging winds and isolated tornadoes still remain
Everyone stay safe!

Friends! All of our counties are now included in ENHANCED risk for strong to severe storms. HAIL RISK has also increased!
For the first time, since the new SPC graphics have changed, we are included in an intensity LEVEL 2 for hail. This means we could see hail 3.5 inches or larger!
This does NOT mean everyone will see hail or severe weather but you all need to be prepared. We have a strong line of storms moving in around 5:00pm from the west. All areas need to be weather aware, especially areas Abilene and south, including San Angelo.
Threats for damaging winds and isolated tornadoes still remain.
Take this afternoon/ your lunch break to come up with an emergency plan, know where your safe place is and if I were you, find a place to protect your cars! Have multiple ways to receive alerts. ALWAYS better SAFE than sorry!
