Roadway is back open,however, still expect slight delays due to Florida Highway Patrol investigating and having the vehicles removed.

****USE CAUTION VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH EXTRICATION****

Use caution and expect delays in reference to a vehicle accident with extrication on Highway 26 / CR 341.

Engine 7701 along with Gilchrist County Fire Rescue, Florida Highway Patrol and Gilchrist County Sheriffs Office are on scene.

NW 160th St just east of NW 30th Ave the roadway is closed due to electrical lines down over a vehicle and structure. Please use caution in the area.

🚒 TRUCK TUES…..THURSDAY!!!!!! 🚒

Good morning, everyone! We know we’re a few days late, but we decided to change things up a little and bring you Truck Tues…..Thursday!

Today, we’re highlighting Engine 77.

Engine 77 is a 2004 Pierce built on a Peterbilt commercial chassis. Equipped with a 1,250-gallon water tank and a 1,500 GPM pump, Engine 77 has been a tremendous asset to our department and the rural communities we serve.

Unfortunately, Engine 77 is currently out of service and will soon be decommissioned. As our department and community continue to grow, so do our needs. Chief Taylor and the command staff are currently working toward replacing Engine 77 with a new engine that will better serve our department and our community for years to come.

We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to sharing our new engine with you in the near future!
