Dade County residents will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from Congressman Clay Fuller’s office during the County Connections Program on September 11.

The visit is open to the public, including residents, business owners, community leaders, and city and county officials who would like to meet with the Congressman’s team, share comments, discuss community concerns, or seek assistance with constituent services.

The County Connections Program provides an opportunity for Congressman Fuller’s office to be present in each county throughout the 14th Congressional District while continuing to serve constituents through its existing field offices.

For more information or to schedule a meeting, constituents may contact Congressman Fuller’s office directly at (706)-226-5320.

We encourage Dade County residents and community members to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with the Congressman’s team while they are in the county. We hope to see you there!

Dade County EMA will open all three community shelter facilities as cooling areas due to the high heat index forecast for our area over the next several days.

These shelters will be open 24 hours a day for anyone who needs them. The community shelters are monitored by cameras so we can know if anyone is there and to help ensure everyone’s safety.

If you use these facilities, tables and chairs will be available, but you will need to bring any items you may need to stay for an extended period, such as food and water.

If you have any questions, please call Dade County E911/EMA non-emergency at 706-657-4111.
