Going through both state and individual county election results online. Why is it that I’m unable to find the voting results for specific municipalities when it comes to the public questions on the 2020 ballot? For previous general elections, both the state and county have provided those results and made them easily accessible via their websites. The state citizens voted in favor of legalizing cannabis 2-1. But for some reason local municipalities are imposing strict barriers on locations, and the amount of business or types can operate. If the the results were easily accessible like previous legitimate elections, it would be an easy discussion. If the town voted along the lines of the state average, then the town should only be allowed to propose guidelines. NOT RESTRICTIONS. It’s blatantly goes against what the constituents voted for.
