CROCKETT COUNTY, TN- On Tuesday, District Attorney General Frederick H. Agee was honored to be invited to speak to The Exchange Club of Crockett County by Club President Bethany Outlaw and Vice President Karen Utley at the Chamber of Commerce.
During the meeting, General Agee discussed the importance of protecting children in our communities and holding accountable those who commit acts of abuse against them. He provided an update on recent prosecutions, how his administration evaluates these types of cases, and the additional personnel added to the District Attorney’s office to assist in strengthening prosecutions and better serving Victims.
The Exchange Club of Crockett County supports the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, an organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and providing support and services to children and families.
Our office works closely with the Carl Perkins Center in investigating and prosecuting cases involving child abuse and child sexual offenses.
We thank the Exchange Club of Crockett County for its continued commitment to protecting children and supporting organizations that assist us in holding dangerous child abusers accountable.
