There's a new dog in town, and Hitchcock County residents will likely be seeing more of him in the months ahead. Roco, a 6½-year-old Belgian Malinois trained in narcotics detection and tracking, has joined the Hitchcock County Sheriff's Office, and officials are hoping his keen nose will help keep illegal drugs out of local communities.

Exciting news!!!!! K9 fundraising has started up again and we will be selling raffle tickets soon. Until then give us a call and we will add you to a list to contact as soon as tickets become available. The plan is to sell tickets for $20 each at a chance to win this awesome car. So watch out for the car to be out and about at local car shows in the very near future!!!!

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the majority of the area. It is in effect until 10 pm MT / 11 pm CT. The main threats with these storms are Large Hail, Damaging Winds, Blowing Dust, and a brief Tornado or two.
