Hi all!
We are excited to announce the City has contracted with a text alert system. This will be a great tool for us to utilize in addition to our website and page to help keep everybody up to date and informed.
Please take a moment sign up to be informed. We will utilize this text feature to inform mainly of any water issues, city events, police updates, weather, etc.
Anybody can sign up to stay informed. We highly encourage signing up if you are on city water. If you are please also utilize the address feature and send in your address, this feature allows us to target specific addresses with our notices. For example if water will need to be shut off for a specific area we can send out a targeted text message to only those specific homes effected.
We’re very excited to start utilizing this tool, but it will only be beneficial if everybody joins so please spread the word. If you’re not tech savvy and would like to sign up but need some assistance please stop by City Hall. I’d be happy to help you get it set up on your phone!
