We are excited to announce that Jones County NC is joining our colleagues across the nation in launching for Veterans, an initiative designed to shine a light on the service of our veterans and their families.

Now more than ever, our veterans need our support. In a time when our country is divided on so many issues, we can all agree that those individuals who risked everything to protect our country and our way of life deserve our support and gratitude. for Veterans

As part of for Veterans, Jones County NC] is illuminating our buildings green beginning on [DATE] and we encourage individuals and businesses to join!

Roughly 250,000 members transition out of the armed services each year. Join for Veterans to help shine a light to support and welcome our veterans home.

By shining a green light, we aim to let veterans know that they are seen, appreciated and supported. Join us in for Veterans by changing one light bulb in the entryway of your house or business to a green bulb.

This , join us in shining a light of hope and support. Join and let’s turn Jones County NC green for our veterans.

Investing in Jones County’s Future!

At the Jones County Committee of 100 Annual Meeting, an exciting update was shared on a major economic development investment underway in Jones County!

The Jones County Development Alliance is making exciting progress on a new 20,000+ square-foot industrial building in the Jones County Industrial Park near Trenton!

Once completed, the facility will be available for lease to help attract new business, create jobs, and generate additional economic investment right here in Jones County.

This project is being made possible through strong partnerships and investments from:

🔹 Jones-Onslow Electric Membership Corporation (JOEMC) – $500,000 in interest-free loan funding
🔹 North Carolina’s Southeast – $400,000 grant
🔹 Jones County Committee of 100 – $15,000 contribution
🔹 NC East Alliance – $15,000 contribution
🔹 Jones County Government – Capital investment in the Jones County Development Alliance to support construction of the facility

Projects like this demonstrate what can be accomplished when local and regional partners work together toward a common goal—creating opportunities for investment and job growth in Jones County.

We look forward to seeing what the future holds for this facility and the opportunities it can bring to economic development, job creation, and the future of Jones County!
