🎉💕 Happy Birthday to our amazing PTO President, Larissa Brown! 💕

Where do we even begin?! Wife, mom of three, football and baseball mom, gymnastics mom, Airbnb host, substitute teacher, PTO president, and let’s not forget her beloved chickens! 🐓😂

To say this woman wears a lot of hats would be an understatement! Somehow, between running from one activity to another, taking care of her family, working, and everything else life throws her way, she still manages to give so much of herself to our school.

Larissa is the kind of person who can take a crazy idea and help turn it into something amazing. She leads with grace, kindness, and a whole lot of patience, even when her plate is overflowing.

We truly couldn’t ask for a better president, but even more than that, we’re lucky to call her our friend. It’s an absolute privilege to serve on PTO alongside her. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Larissa! We hope today you get to slow down, feel celebrated, and maybe spend a little extra time with those chickens! 🐔🎂💕

🎉💗 Help us wish a very Happy Belated Birthday to our very own Marlena McClure! 💗🎉

We may be a day late wishing her a happy birthday, but we couldn’t let the opportunity pass without bragging on this special lady! ❤️

Marlena is truly one of those people who goes above and beyond, not because she has to, but because she genuinely cares about our school, our teachers, and our kids!

What many people don’t see is just how much she does behind the scenes. Marlena works a full-time job, yet somehow still finds the time and energy to show up at the school whenever she’s needed. She never hesitates to jump in and will stay at the school late into the night making sure everything is ready for our teachers and students the very next morning.

She doesn’t do it for recognition or praise. She does it because she has a heart for serving others and wants to make a difference. And believe us, she makes a BIG difference! ❤️

PTO is made up of volunteers who give their time, but people like Marlena remind us just how much love, dedication, and hard work go into making special things happen for our school.

Marlena, we hope you know how loved and appreciated you are! We are so thankful to have you on our PTO team, and Dade Elementary is blessed to have someone like you cheering on our teachers and kids!

Weekly Teacher Showcase: Pre-K Edition!

We’ve made our way through the grade levels, celebrating so many incredible teachers, and now it’s time to shine the spotlight on the teachers who help our littlest Wolverines take their very first steps into school!

This week belongs to our amazing Pre-K Team!

Pre-K is where so much of the magic begins! ✨ It’s where little hands learn to write their names, friendships are made, confidence starts to grow, and our youngest students discover just how exciting learning can be.

And behind every first-day tear, proud little smile, and big “LOOK WHAT I DID!” moment are teachers who give endless patience, encouragement, hugs, and love.

Our Pre-K teachers do so much more than teach ABCs and 123s. They’re helping build the foundation for a lifetime of learning, creating a safe and loving environment, and making those very first school memories ones our little Wolverines will carry with them for years to come!
