What an incredible day yesterday at .duco vest presentation!! At the event, thanks to everyone's support over $900!! This help us vest another K9 in need!

K9 Duco's vest was donated in memory Valerie York, K-9 Handler York's Grandmother. All made possible by a generous donation from the York family.

Great job K-9 Bolo!!! ❤️🐾🚔💪🏽

Last week, Marlboro Police was alerted to a subject with dementia who had walked away from his residence. Our Dispatch received the call approximately 20 minutes after the subject had gone missing. Immediately, Patrol Officers began to search the area while Ptlm. Abrahamson and his K9 partner Bolo were called to the scene. A track was conducted which led our officers to the subject’s location. He was found unresponsive, lying in a landscaping bed. Patrol Officers then treated the subject until first aid arrived and transported the patient to the hospital. Another successful track for Bolo and a great job by all the officers involved!

What a great today! We went back to our roots today and had the honor of vesting K-9 Ugo with Trenton Police Dept. For those that remember, Trenton K-9 Unit helped establish our orginization back in 2011. Its honor to come back and help protect the new K-9 teams hitting the streets.

Big shout out to John Burke and James Kozik with New Century Tax & Accounting Services for donating the funds necessary to help purchase Ugo's vest. Not to mention, they donated funds at the presentation to help protect our next K-9!! ❤️🙌🏽

A little background on K-9 Ugo and K-9 Handler Mahan. They work on a specialized unit with the New Jersey State Police working on "confidential" things. Lets just say, Ugo loves sniffing out drugs and he's darn good at it ;)

K-9 Ugo is from
He was named after Tyler Ugolyn. Tyler was a Columbia University graduate (at age 23) when he started his dream job as a research assistant with Fred Alger Management Inc at the World Trade Center. During the events of 9/11, Tyler passed away. K-9 Ugo carries on the memory of Tyler. All of the dogs at Penn Vet are named after people who passed away during 9/11. 💙🇺🇲🙏🏽

Today, my big brother Cherno is crossing the rainbow bridge to run and jump and sniff it out forever. Cherno lived a long and adventurous 13 1/2 years. 10 years of service with a long list of accomplishments, and over 3 years of retirement full of treats and belly rubs. It's amazing how much love one dog could give. Always the ladies man and always the consummate professional. Business was top priority but there was always room for a good game of fetch. To an eternity of barking as much as you want without getting yelled at. Thank you, Cherno, for paving the way for other k9's and being my big brother. You will be missed by so many but not as much as by me. So much love 💔•

With great sadness, we announce the passing of retired Ewing Police K9 Brix.

K9 Brix was a male Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands. Brix was a dual-purpose explosive detection dog assigned to the patrol division. Brix's handler was Lt. Larry Cabell #161. Brix served the Ewing Police Department from 2012 to 2018. He lived his remaining years with his handler and enjoyed his retirement in the comfort of his home.

RIP K9 Brix.

Last week, the Marlboro Township Police Department was alerted to a missing suicidal subject who had fled his residence in distress. After a perimeter was set up by the patrol officers, our K9 handler, Ptlm. Joshua Abrahamson and his partner Bolo, responded to the scene. After an extensive search through the woods, lasting approximately an hour and a half, Bolo was able to guide our patrol officers to the subject’s location where he was found unharmed. We would like to commend Bolo and all the officers involved that helped lead this incident to a successful outcome.
