🏀🔥 Season 3 of Junior Knights Basketball with the Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA (Jr. NBA) was our biggest season yet!

From exciting games and skill development to teamwork, confidence, and unforgettable memories, our young Knights showed incredible growth all season long. Programs like this are about so much more than basketball — they’re about creating pathways, building futures, and continuing to invest in the next generation of FA student-athletes. 💙💛

At Foundation Academies, athletic development doesn’t start at the high school level. We are committed to building the skills, fundamentals, character, and confidence of our Knights from an early age while creating opportunities for our scholars to grow both on and off the court.

The final game of the season was an incredible way to close out another amazing year of Junior Knights Basketball. A huge shoutout to our Assistant AD & Athletics Operations Manager Mr. Bush, to our dedicated coaches, and to Division 1 basketball player Erik Oliver-Bush for stopping by and putting on an exciting halftime dunk show for our scholars, families, and community!

Season 4 can’t come soon enough. ⚔️🏀

📚✨ Published & Proud ✨📚

What a powerful and unforgettable evening as our young authors took center stage for “Published & Proud: From the Classroom to the Barnes & Noble Stage.” Families, staff, and supporters gathered to celebrate a truly special milestone as Foundation Academies Elementary scholars officially became published authors. 🎉

Our K-4 scholars worked tirelessly to write and publish their very own short stories through our partnership with Studentreasures Publishing. Together, our scholars proudly celebrated the release of 10 NEW published titles — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their creativity, brilliance, imagination, and voice.

This celebration was about so much more than books. It was about identity, pride, representation, and possibility. Our Black and Brown scholars deserve to see themselves as authors, storytellers, creators, and leaders whose words matter and whose stories belong. Watching our scholars read, sign, and showcase their books inside Barnes & Noble made this moment even more meaningful as they experienced their work in the same type of space as the authors they admire. ❤️

A very special THANK YOU to FA Elementary Educator Mrs. Williams for bringing this beautiful vision to life and creating an opportunity our scholars and families will never forget. Your dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence continue to open doors and inspire confidence in our young scholars every single day.

🐠✨ Under the Sea and making memories that will last a lifetime ✨🌊

Our Kindergarten Prom was filled with so much joy, laughter, dancing, and excitement as scholars and families came together for a truly special event. From the moment they walked in dressed to impress to the final dance, the smiles never stopped.

A huge thank you to our FA Elementary Kindergarten teachers for creating such a beautiful and memorable experience for our scholars and families. And another huge thank you to DJ Wes Will for bringing the music, the energy, and nonstop fun that kept the celebration going all afternoon long. 🎶🪸

In the inaugural season of Foundation Academies Girls Varsity Flag Football, these young Knights have officially brought home the LEAGUE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Read that again.

LEAGUE. CONFERENCE. CHAMPIONS.

Traveling to Pennsylvania to face Liguori, the Knights embraced the underdog role and delivered on the biggest stage possible — bringing the BIG trophy back home to Foundation Academies and cementing one of the most powerful chapters of HERstory in school history.

This was belief.
This was preparation.
This was KNIGHTS PRIDE.
This was KNIGHTS PRESSURE.

Led by Coach Chestnut and Coach Stokes, this program was built from day one on one central message:

You belong.
You are capable.
You have championship caliber inside of you.

And now? That belief is forever cemented in history with a LEAGUE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP. THE. WHOLE. DANG. THING.

To our young ladies: you didn’t just win games. You inspired belief. You set a standard. You showed what is possible when scholars buy into one another, trust one another, and compete for something bigger than themselves.

🎶 An Evening of Celebration and Dedication ✨

The house was full and the energy was unforgettable as families, friends, staff, and scholars packed the beautiful New Jersey State Museum Auditorium for this year’s FA Spring Concert.

This special evening showcased the power of collaboration between FA Middle and FA Collegiate and highlighted the incredible dedication, talent, and growth of our scholar artists and performers.

Audiences enjoyed moving performances from the FA Grade 6 Orchestra, FA Grade 7 Orchestra, and the FA Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Bello, along with featured soloists and performances by the FA Glee Club and FA Choir directed by Ms. Hill and accompanied by Mr. Justin Brown.

Guests were also welcomed by beautiful lobby artwork created by the FA Art Club under the leadership of Ms. Young, showcasing the creativity and imagination of our talented scholars beyond the stage.

At Foundation Academies, we are proud to celebrate and support the creative talents of our scholars through meaningful learning experiences across many artistic modalities. From music and performance to visual arts and collaboration, moments like these remind us how powerful the arts can be in helping scholars grow in confidence, expression, and community.

🏈 Senior Knight: One for the memory books. ⚔️

Families, friends, staff, and scholars recently came together to celebrate our Senior Varsity Girls Flag Football Knights and the leadership, heart, and determination they’ve brought to this program every single day.

In their inaugural season, this squad has been building momentum at exactly the right time.

Week after week, they continue to grow, compete, and improve—and now they’ve put themselves in position to make a serious playoff push. Led by Coach Chestnut and Coach Stokes, these Knights have already gone head-to-head with two of the top-ranked programs in New Jersey ( #1 and #7 in the state) and never backed down.

That’s toughness.
That’s resilience.
That’s belief.

🏛️ Civics brought to life.

Our FA Collegiate UNITY scholars recently took an inspiring trip to the State House, where they explored how laws are created and discovered the collaboration and teamwork behind government decision-making.

From touring the historic building to learning about the legislative process, scholars gained a firsthand look at how ideas move from conversation to legislation and ultimately shape communities. Experiences like this connect classroom learning to the real world while encouraging scholars to see themselves as informed leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

By engaging directly with the institutions that shape our world, scholars are building knowledge, confidence, and futures rooted in purpose, leadership, and possibility. 💙💛
