Making room for new sweaters? Don’t throw your gently worn clothing away -- donate it to people in need. At Catholic Charities, we make it easy to help others. If you have four or more bags of clothing, our partner Recycle America will come and pick it up! All items will be donated to those in need in our community.

The pickups happen Monday in Ocean County, Tuesday in Burlington County, Wednesday in Monmouth County and Thursday in Mercer County. To arrange collection, please call 609-906–0004 or email [email protected] at least three days prior to the pickup day scheduled for your county.

Or you can drop your donation in one of our collection bins. Visit our In-Kind Donations Page to find location near you: https://www.catholiccharitiestrenton.org/.../in-kind.../

Did you know that 1 in 9 New Jersey residents face food insecurity?

At Catholic Charities, we’re working to help our neighbors facing hunger. We operate food pantries in Burlington, Mercer and Ocean counties. We also host pop-up pantries in areas of Trenton identified as Food Desert Communities.

Access to nutritious food is more than meeting a basic need, it’s about helping individuals and families feel supported, seen and empowered to move forward.

Join us for the 37th Annual Guardian Angel Dinner on Friday, September 18, at The Boathouse in West Windsor. Together, we can celebrate the importance of showing up for our neighbors in need.

A special thank you to our Angel of Light Sponsor, Reilly Financial Group, LLC, for their generous support in making this event possible. 💙

This morning, we offer a prayer of hope and healing for the city of Trenton.

Heavenly Father, we seek an end to the senseless violence that plagues our community. We ask comfort for those who are grieving and healing for those who’ve been injured. Guide us, please, to a world free from violence. Amen.

For children in families impacted by last night’s shooting, our VOICES program provides free mental health services.

Violent crime has a negative impact on survivors and victims’ family members. Long term effects can include things like PTSD, substance use, depression and anxiety, poor performance in school or work and an increased risk in self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

Catholic Charities’ VOICES program offers free mental health services to victims of violent crime in Mercer County. For more information, please call 609-394-5157. Or visit https://www.catholiccharitiestrenton.org/voices/
