Trenton Community A-Team Art transforms and uplifts. The Trenton Community A-TEAM supports, develops, and promotes self-taught, local artists.

TCAT supports and promotes all the creative endeavors of self-taught artists who find it difficult to independently acquire the resources they need to develop and display their talents to the public by providing:

A permanent gallery for the display and sales of TCAT art at our Studio 51 location. Opportunities for mounting shows at museums, galleries and corporate headquarters. Visibility for cre

ative activity through media outlets and book publishing. Provision of art supplies through budgeted funds and in-kind donations
Trips to museums, concerts, and other cultural events and to studios of area artists. Open studio hours, Tuesday-Friday 12 - 4 PM. Enhancement of community pride through outreach efforts

This New Year’s Eve, original artwork by Trenton Community A-TEAM artists will be on display at the Celebration Concert with the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey.

Following the performance, concertgoers are invited to a champagne reception in the War Memorial Ballroom, where TCAT artwork will be featured and available for purchase.

We’re beyond excited to share that Trenton Community A-TEAM (TCAT) will be featured on this week’s episode of State of the Arts on NJ PBS!

For decades, State of the Arts has been New Jersey’s premier showcase for the artists, organizations, and cultural movements shaping our state—spotlighting creativity, community, and the power of the arts across NJ. To be included in that legacy is truly an honor.

Over the past year, the State of the Arts team followed TCAT as we celebrated our 25th anniversary, documenting a milestone year filled with exhibitions, events, and stories that reflect the heart, resilience, and creativity of our artists. It was a pleasure sharing our journey with them—and now, with all of New Jersey.

🎉🎨 Tomorrow’s the day! Our newest exhibit “Breaking the Frame” opening reception at Artworks Trenton and you do not want to miss this one. This marks the final major celebration of TCAT’s incredible 25th anniversary year and we’re going out in style. Reception begins at 6pm!

This show brings together artwork from across all 25 years of TCAT’s history… the early sparks, the bold evolutions, and the powerful creations happening right now. It’s a walk through our story and the community that built it.

Come celebrate with us at the Opening Reception on Nov. 7. Meet the artists. Hear their journeys. Find the piece that speaks to you and take home a little piece of TCAT magic.
