Certified Public Manager Society of New Jersey (CPMSNJ) The Society seeks to maintain an organization supporting the promotion of world-class government lea In 1984, students from New Jersey’s first Certified Public Manager program class formed The Certified Public Managers Society of New Jersey (Society).

The Society was recognized and organized under Executive Order 117 (Governor Thomas H. Kean). The Society is New Jersey’s statewide professional organization for Certified Public Managers.
