The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of New Jersey is a chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA) founded in 1973. The RNHA’s stated mission is to build a membership organization to foster the principles of the Republican Party in the Hispanic community; provide Hispanic Americans with a forum to play an influential role in local, state, and national Party activities; increase the number of Hispanic Republican elected officials; and create and maintain a network of Hispanic Republican leaders.
“One of RNHA’s objectives is to establish a reputation as a credible voice for the interests of Hispanics who share Governor Chris Christie and the New Jersey Republican Party’s conservative values,” said former Mount Holly Mayor and State Assemblyman and new Chairman of the New Jersey RNHA Jose’ F. Sosa.
“Our goal is to ensure that Hispanics in New Jersey are well informed of the Governor's initiatives and how they positively impact the community. Together, we will help advance the New Jersey Comeback and as a result yield greater opportunities for Hispanics.”
“In addition, we are focused on building a process through which the opportunity for dedicated and qualified Hispanics to compete for all levels of elective office is available. There is abundant talent in our community from which future Mayors, State Legislators, Members of Congress and even future Governors of New Jersey are waiting to be found and put into action.”
New Jersey’s diverse Hispanic community embraces conservative values that contribute to a great and prosperous American society. RNHA’s mission is to establish a grassroots level network that will provide effective and frequent communication on those commonly shared values.
