This summer, the Fifth Annual Leadership Awards Celebration will honor three outstanding members of our community. Today, we are the Robert M. Appelbaum Service Award recipient, Dan Rodgers.

Dan dedicated 18 years to the Mercer Street Friends Board of Trustees, including a pivotal term as board chair from 2004 to 2008. A passionate educator and champion of social justice, he serves as Professor of History Emeritus at Princeton University, advocating for underserved communities through his teaching and leadership. THANK YOU, Dan for your unwavering dedication to our mission. 💙

This summer, the Fifth Annual Leadership Awards Celebration will honor three outstanding members of our community. Today, we are the Humanitarian Award recipient, Phyllis Stoolmacher.

Phyllis dedicated 30 years to Mercer Street Friends, transforming its Food Bank into Mercer County’s primary anti-hunger resource while overseeing operations, fundraising, advocacy, and launching key child hunger programs like Send Hunger Packing (SHUP). She continues to support the Food Bank as a volunteer. THANK YOU, Phyllis for your unwavering dedication to our mission. 💙
