2026 Summer Reading Kick-Off at the Dade Library!
Get ready to kick off an amazing summer of reading and fun with Noah's Little Ark Petting Zoo coming to the library! This Thursday, June 4th at 11:00 AM
Bring the whole family to enjoy:
A fun petting zoo in the parking lot
Activities and fun inside the library
Raffle with prize give-aways, including a family pass to Ruby Falls each week.

Don’t forget to join our Summer Reading Challenge on the Beanstack app and keep the whole family reading all summer long!

Happening this week at the Dade County Public Library!

June 2nd - Summer Reading Begins!
Begin logging minutes for our summer reading challenge through Beanstack and gear up for our Summer Reading Challenge events!

June 2nd - June 4th from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Free Sack Lunches for Kids
Free Sack Lunch for Kids provided by the Dade County Schools Summer Feeding Program. Children (ages 0-18) must be present to receive a lunch. Supplies are limited.

June 4th at 11:00 AM - Noah's Little Ark Petting Zoo
Come meet and interact with adorable animals from Noah’s Little Ark Petting Zoo! Pet, feed, and learn all about these friendly farm animals in a fun, hands-on event the whole family will love. You don't want to miss out on our first event of the summer!

June 6th at 12:00 PM: DDPYoga
Developed by former pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, DDPYoga combines traditional yoga, old-school calisthenics, sports rehab techniques, and Dynamic Resistance for a workout like no other! This program is intended for adults 18+.
