Al's Asphalt will be seal coating the walking path from Lathrop Park to Vreeland on Thursday, August 13. The path will be closed to pedestrians for 24 hours after the application. Driveways will not be impacted.

The recycling truck may be out on Friday picking up trash due to mechanical problems with some of the other trucks. Not to worry though, no recycling and trash are being mixed!

The DPW will continue to pick up downed branches from the storm into next week.

DPW crews are still making their way through the city, picking up limbs from the storm. We anticipate having the majority of it cleaned up by the end of the week. If you still have limbs out front, there is no need to call. We are working our way through the entire city, one subdivision at a time.

Hardworking DPW crews were in all weekend cleaning up storm damage. We will continue to work during the week, removing and trimming damaged trees, and picking up downed branches. To have any branches at your home picked up for no charge, place them at the curb by Wednesday evening at the latest. No need to call and schedule.
