The Jones County Chicken Project participants hatched out of their shells and represented Jones County hatching-ly great at the Coastal Plains Chicken Project Show.

Cloverbud Showmanship: 4th Place overall Winner Anika Huntington

Junior Showmanship: 4th Plave Overall Winner Abel Ross

Evangelin Huntington 1st place in respective class

Intermediate Showmanship: 5th Place Overall Winner Aubrey Davidson

Havilah Huntington 1st Place in respective class

Memphis Jenkins 2nd Place in respective class

Senior Showmanship: 4th Place Overall Winner Luke Jones

Aurora Nelson Overall Grand Champion Broiler!

Kingsley Nelson 3rd in his broiler class

Jones County High School FFA was also well represented! Luke Jones was 2nd overall in the Senior Showmanship division! Jones County High school had many placings throughout the show:

Our annual Plant Sale is this Saturday! 🌱🌟

Join us for our Spring Garden Festival! Purchase various vegetables, herbs, and landscape plants. We will have a free children's activity and our Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be there to help with any gardening questions!

Proceeds from this event go to educational programming.
