Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of our nation.

From all of us at Trenton Fire Rescue, we thank and remember our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸

Friday evening, Chief Fowler experienced a medical emergency that required him to be flown to the hospital. Thankfully, he is recovering well.

Tonight, our department spent time with Chief Fowler and his family, surrounding them with love, support, and prayers. We ask our community to continue keeping him in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers.

We would also like to give a huge thank you to Leonard Volunteer Fire Department for covering our district tonight and allowing us the opportunity to come together as a fire department family. Your support and brotherhood are greatly appreciated.

More storms possible this evening. Keep an eye on the sky and have more than one way to receive weather alerts.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible along and just ahead of a cold front this evening across portions of North and Central Texas. Storm coverage is somewhat uncertain right now given the thick upper-level clouds currently in place over the region. Still, should any storms develop, they will have the potential for large hail and damaging winds. Regardless, most will stay dry with rain chances around 30%.

Today, May 4th, we recognize International Firefighters’ Day 🔥🚒

This day is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our communities. We remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and thank all firefighters—past and present—for their courage, dedication, and service.

If you see a firefighter today, take a moment to say thank you. Your support means more than you know.

Stay safe, and as always, we’re proud to serve our community.
