Community leaders, educators, and students gathered today to celebrate the official opening of the Senator Jim Perry Aviation Center for Excellence (ACE), a landmark facility dedicated to preparing the next generation of aviation professionals. The state-of-the-art center will serve students from Jones County Public Schools, Lenoir County Public Schools, and Greene County Schools, offering specialized aviation career-focused certificate and degree programs.

Among those in attendance was Barbara Lee, JCPS Career and Technical Education Director, who will be instrumental in bringing this opportunity to Jones County Public Schools' students.
