We asked: How do you feel about our new dog bag stations and playful reminder signs across downtown?

Our Clean Team added these to make it easier for locals and visitors alike to keep downtown clean, and the feedback was two paws‑up! **ptrenton

Revolutionary Mile is returning to Downtown Trenton on October 15,2026 🏙️ A celebration of the city’s diversity and community spirit. We’re inviting teams to participate in one of two ways:

Running: Teams compete for the fastest combined time, bringing speed, strategy and teamwork to the course.

Historic Footsteps Walk: A more relaxed pace along the same route, with storytelling prompts and discovery points highlighting Trenton’s pivotal role in American history.

The Revolutionary Mile is designed to do more than bring people together for a run or walk.

It helps:

- Drive foot traffic to downtown businesses
- Increase awareness of Trenton’s rich history
- Encourage wellness and active lifestyles
- Strengthen community connections
- Support ongoing revitalization efforts in downtown Trenton
- A great excuse for some team bonding outside the office

This event demonstrates how history, culture and commerce can work together to create meaningful community impact.

However your team chooses to participate, it’s a great opportunity to get your organization involved and show support for Trenton. Registration is open now — details in the comments/link below.

Nobody wants p**p shoes 😠

Downtown Trenton is changing, and you can feel it.

With The Bell, The Continental, and The Aleda open, plus the Van Sciver Building and Old City Hall conversion on the way, the residential boom is real.

Did you know?:

🐶 Urban planners often estimate one dog for every 4-5 households in major cities, a ratio that downtown Trenton is rapidly approaching.

🐶 Urban areas house the majority of America’s dogs, with cities accounting for 70% of all animal intakes nationwide.

So we did what any responsible downtown would do:

We installed doggie bag stations throughout downtown, complete with bags and signage that gently (and humorously) remind pet owners to do their part.

Downtown is officially a pet‑friendly business district. 🐕

To help keep our neighborhood clean, we’ve launched our Scoop the P**p campaign by installing dog waste stations stocked with free bags and placing funny reminder signs throughout downtown 🐶

If you’re out with your pup:

🐾 Grab a free bag from one of our stations.
💩 Pick up after your dog.
🗑️ Toss it in the nearest trash can.

Shoutout to our Clean Team, who work hard every day to keep downtown looking its best. Let’s make their job a little easier. Pick up after your pup!

Which sign is your favorite? 😉
