August is Black Business Month!

Mercer County is proud to recognize the Black entrepreneurs and business owners whose hard work, creativity, and investment help strengthen our local economy and communities.

We’re especially proud to highlight two recent partners, Quality Haul LLC and Theo's of Princeton Salon, and thank them for their work and contributions to Mercer County.

This month, we encourage everyone to discover, support, and celebrate Black-owned businesses throughout our community.

Through the Mercer County Office of Food Security’s Fresh Food Grant Program, the County provides funding to local nonprofit organizations working directly with residents to improve access to fresh, nutritious food.

This week we’re spotlighting HomeFront, whose work supports families experiencing economic hardship throughout Mercer County. With support from Mercer County’s Fresh Food Grant Program, HomeFront is able to strengthen its efforts to provide healthy food and other essential resources to families in need.

These grants are one way Mercer County is investing directly in trusted community organizations that are already doing important work in our neighborhoods.

Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the nonprofits supported through Mercer County’s Office of Food Security.
