These cold temperatures are not letting up! We are not expected to make it out of the 30's this weekend. Make sure if you have livestock that animals have access to a shelter and windbreak to get some relief from that cold air! Here's some great advice from GDA below.

UPDATE: Registration has reached capacity and is now closed.

Georgia is in the midst of avian influenza season. Flock owners should stay alert for signs of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), a serious threat to poultry health. Maintaining strong biosecurity practices is the best defense.

To help, our partners at the U.S. Department of Agriculture - APHIS are hosting a free webinar on January 30 at 2 PM that will cover:

βœ… The latest biosecurity best practices
βœ… FREE biosecurity resources for poultry farms of all sizes
βœ… Biosecurity assessments for farms with 500+ birds, including how to get paid to address high-risk issues
