✏️📝 Quick Writes in Ms. Mullins’ 2nd Grade Class!
Every Wednesday, Ms. Mullins’ students take time to complete a Quick Write. They start by collaborating and creating “brain bubbles” to get their ideas flowing. Then, the timer starts, and they write for the entire time!
In August, they wrote for 5 minutes. Now in September, they’ve increased it to 6 minutes! 🎉
Their topics have included having a pet dragon 🐉, why their age is the best age to be, their favorite season, and today’s question: “If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?” 🌎✈️
The best part? Students are competing with themselves! After each Quick Write, they count their words and record their word count. They are so excited to see their numbers grow each week! 📈💗
