Planning on burning off your field? We ask before you do please give our dispatch a call at (660)359-5557 and let them know where the fire will be, who is in charge of the burn, and a contact number. This will keep firefighters from making an unneeded response to your controlled burn and keep resources available for when an actual emergency arises. Thanks!

Attention Firefighters
Trenton Fire Department and Grundy Co Rural Fire Department are hosting a School Bus Extrication training provided by MU Fire and Rescue Training Institute. The training is free to participants and funded by the MO Division of Fire Safety. The training takes place at the Trenton Fire Station on Friday December 8, from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday December 9, from 8am to 5pm. You can register for the class on Acadis or contact Trenton Fire Department at (660)359-5552. You can also email [email protected] or [email protected]. Bring your bunker gear.

Today this flag flies to honor Grundy County Rural Firefighter Gary King. Firefighter King passed away in the line of duty on this day in 1994. Thank you for your service, FF King. You will never be forgotten.
