Trimble Fire and Rescue would like to give a HUGE thank-you to everyone who came out and supported our car show! We are truly grateful to everyone who brought out their cars, trucks, and motorcycles, donated items, helped with the food, worked behind the scenes, purchased auction items, and simply came out to enjoy the day with us.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community, local businesses, volunteers, and everyone who contributed in any way. Your support means so much to Trimble Fire and Rescue and helps us continue serving our community and having the equipment and resources needed to protect our citizens.

We also want to thank our firefighters and their families for all the hard work, time, and effort they put into making this event a success.

From all of us at Trimble Fire and Rescue — THANK YOU! ❤️🚒

We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

💔 HOW A CHIEF LOSES TRUST 💔
Trust isn't lost overnight. It erodes—one broken promise, one favor, one absence at a time.
🔴 UNDERMINING SAFETY & FAIRNESS • Playing favorites with promotions & discipline • Throwing people under the bus to protect yourself • Ignoring equipment problems & safety concerns
🔴 FAILING TO SHOW UP • Invisible on the fireground, in training, during nights • Breaking promises about schedules, upgrades, backup • Micromanaging OR totally checked out—both destroy morale
🔴 ERODING TRANSPARENCY • Keeping crews in the dark on policy, budget, incidents • Dishonesty about small things → suspicion about everything • Inconsistent standards, unpredictable moods, shifting rules
🔴 LOSING THE "US" MINDSET • More accountable to city hall than to the crew • Dismissing feedback, retaliating, surrounding with yes-people • The crew stops bringing problems forward—problems don't disappear
THE TRUTH? Firefighters don't expect perfection.
They expect integrity.
Rebuilding trust requires sustained, visible change: fairness, honesty, shared hardship, and owning your mistakes.

White helmets mean nothing if the person under them isn't standing beside you
