The Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria is a federally recognized tribe with ancestral ties to Yurok, Wiyot, Tolowa, Chetco, Karuk and Hupa peoples. The Rancheria is within the aboriginal territory of the Yurok peoples and is located in an area of great cultural significance. The core land holding of the Rancheria is located on a coastal bluff west of U.S. Highway 101 just s

outheast of the town of Trinidad, which is about 25 miles north of Eureka. Vision Statement

The mission of the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria is to preserve and promote our cultural and traditional beliefs; improve quality of life and self-sufficiency; uphold tribal sovereignty; create positive partnerships; and protect the environment in order to provide a healthy community, honor our elders, and guide our youth. Howdy Folks! This Saturday we are playing at the Harbor in Trinidad for the first annual Ner-Er-Nerh days. The festival will include vendors, crafts, cultural demonstrations, and Live Music! We play at 2pm. Should be a beautiful day on the water. Can't wait to see all of you!

Trinidad Rancheria Ner-er-nerh Days Schedule is out!! Come visit the Trinidad Rancheria on Saturday, September 28th. This event will be in celebration of the Trinidad Rancheria Harbor Properties being placed into Trust for the Tribe. The event will feature local Native American Cultural dance presentations and Brush Dance Demonstrations, Craft Vendors, Food Vendors, Live Music by Monument Road, and a Kids Play Area.
