Trinidad Art

Trinidad Art Local painters, photographers and sculpturers participate in several shows each year.

For twenty years Ned Simmon's home has been an art gallery for Trinidad Artist and their unique perspectives of where the redwood forest meet the sea and our little community.

National Poppy Day®
May 22, 2020
The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. It reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. Wear a poppy to honor those who have worn our nation's uniform.
All donations received will be used by The American Legion Family for their programs that support veterans, the military community and their families.

Honor the fallen. Support the living.

Trinidad Museum board member Scott Baker and sculptor Connie Butler take a brief and well deserved break after cleaning and polishing “Grey Whale and Calf”. This graceful sculpture can be found on Trinidad’s Main Street entry way in front of the Museum and Library. Meander over and take a peek.

Our Story

In the past, local painters, photographers and sculpturers participated in several shows at Ned’s house. Now, many of them have joined together creating The Trinidad Art Gallery in Ned’s old house. The Simmons Gallery in town honors Ned, and it is managed by the local land trust.
