Area 1 Agency on Aging is seeking local professional and amateur bakers to compete for the coveted Lovely Layers Award for our fundraiser: Young at Heart 2025 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Arcata Playhouse. Attendees will vote for their favorite cake, and all cakes will be auctioned to raise funds for the Volunteer Driver Program, which helps older adults get to medical appointments and grocery shopping.
