📢 NEW WEEKLY YARD WASTE & BULK WASTE COLLECTION BEGINS SEPTEMBER 1!
We’ve heard from residents about some of the challenges with yard waste and bulk waste collection, and we’ve been working on a solution to make the process easier, simpler, and more reliable.
Beginning September 1, 2026, the City of Trinity is eliminating the A, B, C & D week schedule. Instead, every Trinity trash customer will have the opportunity for yard waste and bulk waste collection EVERY WEEK — as long as the pickup is scheduled by the deadline.
🌿 Yard Waste
Schedule by Friday at 2:00 PM → Pickup on Monday
🛋️ Bulk Waste
Schedule by Wednesday at 2:00 PM → Pickup on Thursday
The new information sheet also includes important reminders to help prevent missed garbage collection, including:
🗑️ Put your cart out the night before. Collection routes may begin early, so waiting until the morning could result in a missed pickup.
🏠 Make sure the cart handle faces your house with the opening toward the street.
↔️ Leave at least 3 feet of clearance around your cart so the automated collection truck can safely empty it.
🚫 Do not place your cart behind vehicles, too close to mailboxes or other carts, on the sidewalk, or with objects directly in front of it.
📬 Be on the lookout for this information in your mailbox! We will be mailing a copy to each City of Trinity trash customer so everyone has the new schedule, collection guidelines, and scheduling information handy.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we’ve worked through collection issues. We believe this new weekly schedule will make the process much easier and provide residents with a more consistent level of service.
