Tragically on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, our longtime friend Dale Mitchell passed away at age 50. He was a current employee at Hays State Prison with over 25 years of dedicated service. He will truly be missed by his friends, family, and his Hays State Prison Family.
Dale will lie-in-state Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends after 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pennville Church of Christ with Minister Robbie Eversole, Stan Hammond, and Chaplain Darryl Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Flippo, Alex Taylor, Roger Cothran, Caleb Johnston, Kenneth Gilreath, and Jamie Cavin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hays State Prison Maintenance Department and Son of the Confederate Veterans Camp 507.
