The inaugural recipients of "The G.O.A.T." award and recognition for the 2026-2027 school year are Tammy Varilek and Daniel Polreis.

Tammy serves our students/staff in the cafeteria, a place where she routinely goes above and beyond expectations, knows everyone by their name and helps to maintain a positive school culture. She makes certain that students start their day with a solid breakfast and then delivers delicious lunchtime meals. GREAT WORK TAMMY!!!

Mr. Polreis serves as the Secondary Special Education Coordinator. He is a phenomenal example supporting students and staff, going above/beyond for the students and flexibility when things don't go as planned. The relationships he has built with students/staff are incredibly strong and he has worked diligently to make our school a better place. GREAT WORK MR. POLREIS!!!

We want to celebrate the phenomenal people we have here at T-D. For the 2026-2027 school year, we've started a new tradition.

The award is titled "The G.O.A.T."; it recognizes excellence in the T-D workplace. The qualifications are as follows:

Finds Creative Solutions to Problems,

We have 2 pairs of glasses that were found one pair was found in the locker room and the other was found on the stage.

Two schools. One team. 💙🏐

One of my favorite things about this co-op is watching girls who come from two different schools become teammates—and then become friends.
They may walk into the gym wearing different school names, but once they step on that court, they’re Nighthawks.
They’re learning to trust each other, encourage each other, laugh together, compete together, and build friendships that go far beyond volleyball.

This is what being a team is all about. 🖤💙
And as their coach, watching those friendships grow might just be one of the best parts. 🥰
