We had the worst lightning storm in years last night. Plans change when that happens. You go into assessment mode. The first thing I noticed is no internet because my cameras were not online. So off to the station and I found the router toasted and the network switch half working. Antenna server has failed and USB switch is fried. Only one antenna rotated but LUSO was OK. So finding blown fuses and burned up bridge rectifiers. It will take a while. When you get direct hits, lots of stuff can happen. I have taken a lot of precautions and the damage used to be a lot worse. This storm last night was off the charts! I hope all of you fared better than I.

Finished mowing and trimming. I'm thinking at least one db more. Trouble is, it keeps growing back!

Got booms and elements assembled. Took a break for WRTC. Finish up the 80m elements when I return. Then they all go up in time for contest season

I got the JK 402T ready for outside boom assembly. Next is the JK BigTri. I will assemble them at the base of the tower when the crane is scheduled.

SO2R left is 50 MHz and right is 144 to 432. I switch to SSB or CW when signals are strong enough.
