SBC Wireless Outage

Underlying carrier, Telepacific, states there is a outage between West Los Angeles and Los Angeles CA. Damage to a conduit being used for the new fiber has delayed the repair.

New fiber is still being run about a 1/2 mile long to fix the issue.

The next update will be provided at 6:30 EST unless a resolution is reached prior.

We regret that your services are impacted and appreciate your patience.

We are currently experience a outage since 2:00 PM today the 6th, due to a upstream fiber issue.

We are getting hourly status updates from our upstream carrier.

Important System Maintenance Alert

Attention: All Ridgecrest Customers
Date of Maintenance: 04/28/17

Maintenance Details:

From 2:30 AM to 6:00 AM Friday morning SBC Wireless will be conducting system maintenance and updates to our network in Ridgecrest, California. This would include the the outlining communities of Inyokern and Pearsonville.

Customers can experience two outages lasting up to thirty minutes.

If you experience any service issues after 6:00 AM Friday the 27th

SBC Wireless will be conducting server maintenance from the hours of 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM Wednesday the 12th.

Access to SBC Wireless Customer Portal will be unavailable.

This required maintenance will affect ALL SBC Wireless Customers access to the SBC Wireless Customer Portal. The maintenance will not effect any customers internet service.

*** ATTENTION SBC-WIRELESS POINEER POINT CUSTOMERS IN TRONA, CA ***

We would like to let all wireless customers in the Pioneer Point area of Trona, CA due to a hardware failure Friday the 7th of October thier was a service outage.

Staff at SBC established a temporary link while we waited for the new hardware to arrive.

As of 6:30 PM Saturday the 9th of October staff at SBC have completed the installation of the new hardware and restored full service to the Pioneer Point in Trona, CA.

If you currently have internet service with SBC in Pioneer Point and are still experiencing any service issues, please contact us through any of the below methods or submit a support ticket within your customer portal.
