Edited: The main break has been repaired and water service has been restored. Thank you for your understanding.

There is a water main break in the area of Trophy Club Dr. and Brookfield Dr./Ct. Crews are onsite now and are working to restore water as quickly as possible. Affected homes in the area have been notified that their water will temporarily be shut off while the repair takes place. We will provide an update as soon as the break is contained.

Congratulations to Board Directors Jim Thomas, Neil Twomey and Bert Cooper who were sworn into office during the May 13 District Board Meeting. Directors Thomas and Twomey have been serving in Place 3 and Place 4 respectively after being appointed to fill unexpired terms. Bert Cooper, a recent retiree of the District, was welcomed to Place 5 as the newest Board Member.

Cooper will be filling the big shoes left by retiring Director Doug Harper who has faithfully served the District since 2022. His positive spirit and dedication to the District have helped to shape the continued growth and success of our organization. Harper is well known and appreciated by employees of the District for his “atta boy” style emails. We sincerely thank him for his leadership and volunteer service.

The traditional gift for the 51st anniversary is marble. We think Oak is nice too.

To celebrate our 50th anniversary last year, the District dedicated this 100-gallon live oak tree and commemorative bench to our dedicated volunteers, the Trophy Club community and its residents. We hope it provides wonderful shade for parents watching their children on the playground for years to come.

Happy 51st anniversary!

🎉 In a notable turn of events, the Board of Directors chose to lower the wastewater volumetric rate by more than 17% on utility bills for customers in Trophy Club and portions of Westlake. 🎊 All other water volumetric and base rates will remain the same as last year. The rate reduction was adopted at the March 18 Board Meeting and will take effect April 1, 2026. Customers will see the new rates applied to the bill they receive in May.

The reduction is due in large part to the efforts of the District to annually evaluate and proactively clean and repair wastewater lines and manholes in the system. To date, 55% of the system has been evaluated and repaired. In addition, improvements have been made to other wastewater system components such as lift stations and the wastewater treatment plant.

The District has received the Annual Financial Audit Report for the Fiscal Year 2025 ending on Sept. 30, 2025. Once again, the District Financial Audit resulted in an unmodified, clean report reflecting the financial health of the District is solid.

The annual audit is conducted by an independent auditing professional and is a comprehensive review of the District’s financial statements, transactions and compliance with regulations. • A healthy reserves fund balance in equivalent to eight months of expenditures following recommendations from the Governmental Finance Officers Association
• Our financial practices have been thoroughly scrutinized to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, demonstrating our commitment to ethical and lawful financial management.
