I was honored to give remarks at the Miami Valley Urban League regarding the inaugural unveiling of the State of Black Dayton. This is real data that will help drive policy decisions at every level of government regarding how we navigate progress, prosperity, and opportunity. As I said during the press conference, we are not a hopeless people and we have real work to do to change the socio-economic realities of the most vulnerable. And we have to reverse legislation that reinforce disparate outcomes like Senate Bill 1.
