Update on the Hoagland Run pipe replacement project. The contractors ran into an issue with the pipe, so the project will begin on June 15, 2026 insread of June 1, 2026.

Hoagland Run Pipe Replacement

Begininng June 1, 2026, work will begin on a pipe replacement on Hoagland Run Road. This part of the road will be closed for about 3 weeks.

The Road will be open from the Cogan House Road end to Red Fox. From the Route 973 end, it will be open to Coal Mine Road. Please watch for signs.

Monday, May 18, 2026 work to repair berms and pipes will be started on Cogan House Road from Route 184 at the old school to Green Mountain Road. Local traffic should be cautious due to changing traffic patterns.

Range Resources is hauling stone for Hoagland Run using Bobst Mountain Road. They started this morning, April 29. They plan on being finished by Friday, May 8, 2026. They will not be working over the weekend.
Please be careful in this area & try to avoid it if possible.

Cogan House Road will be closed from Stryker Road to the intersection with Route 184 Monday & Tuesday.

Please do not use Buckhorn Road. It is currently very icy! It will be much safer to use alternate routes.
