The Sandy River

The Sandy River The Sandy flows from the Reid Glacier on Mt. Hood. At 50+ miles it flows through Clackamas and Multnomah Counties.

It ends at the Sandy River delta in Troutdale, Oregon. This page will attempt to embody the presence the Sandy has in the area.

There is a large snag across the sandy at Tippy Canoe if you are taking a raft from Dabney State Recreation Area - NORTH be aware and take the LEFT fork. OR walk your raft around the snag to the right. Emergency vehicles at Tippy's this evening - hoping no one got hurt!
