Children are the future, and kids need their early years to be safe and healthy. Leaders from Rensselaer, Albany and Schenectady counties came together on Wednesday at the Albany County offices in downtown Albany to raise awareness about child abuse prevention. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and a time to refocus a commitment to keeping all kids safe.
County Executive Steve McLaughlin joined with Albany County Executive Dan McCoy, Rensselaer County District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly, Sheriff Kyle Bourgault and others for the event on Wednesday.
