Congratulations to Cadet Anguh for being the Mohawk Battalions Cadet of the month for October!!! Mind my messy room, says Anguh, which is understandable since she is currently on two dance teams, one of witch she is the captain, a campus tour guide, part of the National Society for Leadership and Success, a member of Student Association, and, on top of that, volunteers on her spare time!

Anguh is getting her bachelors in Buisiness Administration and majoring in management! She hopes to commission as an active duty aviation officer! Keep up the good work Anguh!

Mohawk Battalion had an awesome day today supporting their football team!

Cadets posted the colors for the national anthem, and 6 Cadets took the oath of office durring half time!

Photos of the CWST our cadets took last week! 🏊‍♂️🏄‍♀️

The Combat Water Survival Test consists of a timed water tread, 15-meter swim with equipment and weapon, 3-meter drop and pool exit with weapon, and the equipment removal portion!

The CWST is a requirement for some jobs in the army, but not all!

Mohawk Battalion completed our fall ‘22 Field Training Exercise at Camp Ethan Allan, Vermont!

Here our cadets practiced more day and night land navigation, completed the leadership reaction course, practiced marksmanship basics with the electronic shooting range, qualified on Table VI with the M4, and more!

Last week the Mohawk Battalion commissioned our end of camp commissionee, 2LT Maya Blanchet!
2LT Blanchet branched military police in the New York National Guard and will be attending MP BOLC in Fort Leonard Wood, MO in July! 🫡

Good luck 2LT!! We know you’re going to do great!

Yesterday Mohawk CDTs conducted their first Thursday lab of the semester

Here MS3 cadets were able to practice their leadership skills by teaching MS1&2s lessons that will further be developed at FTX next weekend!

Lessons included TCCC, lane navigation, PMI, and IMT!

The Mohawk Battalion is off to a great start of the fall ‘22 semester 💪🥳

Awards were given during the first week to those cadets who completed summer training these past fews months

Mohawks Hosted cadets from program for the Semester Training Brief and then a tour of Siena College’s Campus

Cadets also tabled at club fair and Siena’s

And, of course, ultimate frisbee PT

Interested in getting your undergraduate degree paid for and having a job as an Army Officer after college?

Army ROTC offers endless opportunities for college students to develop the skills that they are already good at, and learn new skills that will most definitely benefit their careers

Cadet Duke is a 4 year scholarship recipient and a double major at Siena college. He will be commissioning as an Army Officer in May 2023 and plans to branch Finance, where the Army will provide him with numerous accounting certificates that will differentiate him from all of his peers.

MS4 Cadets Commissioned as 2nd LTs yesterday at Siena College, where Dr. Gibson gave a keynote speech and Abdul Hameed Danesh was recognized for his dedicated services to the WTA
Our entire Battalion is excited to see what these amazing men and women will accomplish in their careers, and we all wish you the best of luck moving forward
