🚛 ONE-TIME FREE AT-HOME BULK TRASH PICKUP: COMPLETE! 🚛

It’s a wrap! Our one-time, free at-home bulk trash pickup program is officially COMPLETE!

A huge thank you to our incredible Quality of Life Action Crews who worked tirelessly for nearly two weeks to collect and properly dispose of bulk items from neighborhoods across our city. Their hard work and dedication to keeping Troy Safer & Cleaner does not go unnoticed!

And thank you to every Troy resident who participated in this service. More services, done efficiently - that’s your tax dollars at work. The Mantello Administration is proud to deliver services that directly benefit our residents and improve the quality of life in every neighborhood.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Now that this one-time service has concluded, please do not place bulk items at the curb unless you have a scheduled pickup with our Quality of Life Action Crews. Residents who place bulk items out without a scheduled pickup may be subject to a violation.

If you are a resident and participate in city sanitation services, you are eligible for a free one-time bulk pickup at your residence. If you have alley access and your garbage and recycling is normally picked up in the alley, you can place your bulk items in the alley. 🛻 FREE At-Home Bulk Pickup is Back in Troy!

Mayor Mantello today announced for the first time since the 1990s, the City of Troy is bringing back a one time, FREE curbside bulk pickup for residents who receive City of Troy sanitation services.

This is another promise made and promise kept by the Mantello Administration. After delivering the first-ever reduction in the City's sanitation fee since the program began in 2017, we're continuing to make City services more affordable, more convenient, and more efficient for Troy families.

✔️ No registration required
✔️ Simply place acceptable bulk items on your curb or alleyway the evening before your neighborhood's scheduled sanitation pickup day.
✔️ Bulk piles may not exceed 6' x 6'.

Please note: This one time service is only available to properties that receive City of Troy sanitation services. Properties that do not receive City sanitation service are not eligible and may be subject to code enforcement if bulk items are placed at the curb.

📅 Pickup begins July 27 and continues through August 7, following a neighborhood-by-neighborhood schedule designed to closely match regular sanitation collection routes.
