🚧New signage is being installed today on the outside of the building. While we do not open until 11 a.m., we anticipate the LHGC will be a little less quiet throughout the day.

The Hobart Center for County Government, home of the Local History & Genealogy Center, is being renamed the Hobart Civic Center to better represent the wide range of services and community functions housed within the building.

Riverside Cemetery Walk
Tuesday, June 9 • 7-8:30 p.m.

We’re back once again for our annual Summer Cemetery Walk at the charming Riverside Cemetery! Step into the past as we explore a world profoundly different from our own, yet discover how some things never change. Along the way, you’ll hear the fascinating stories of the movers, shakers, leaders, and legends who helped shape Troy, Ohio. Enjoy an evening of history brought to life through costumes and storytelling by local history enthusiasts. It’s an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss! You don’t need to register.

📍Presented at Riverside Cemetery, 101 Riverside Dr., Troy. Meet near the front entrance.

👟Bring a lawn chair if desired, along with water and comfortable walking shoes. In case of inclement weather, we've scheduled a rain date for Thursday, June 11.

🚨Program Update: Due to the weather forecast, we have made the incredibly hard decision to POSTPONE the Outdoor Movie scheduled for Friday, May 22.
