A Pictorial History of Eldean Bridge
Tuesday, September 15 • 6:30 p.m.

Local historian and former Miami County Engineer Doug Christian will share the story of the bridge, including his firsthand experiences with its restoration. Guests can also step back in time with re-enactors dressed in 1860s attire and enjoy ice cream available for purchase from Susie’s Big Dipper.

Please bring a lawn chair and meet at Eldean Bridge, located at the corner of Eldean Rd & N County Rd 25A in Troy.

This special event is a collaboration between the Local History and Genealogy Center, the Miami County Historical & Genealogical Society, The Historical Society.

In case of inclement weather, we’ve scheduled a rain date for Tuesday, September 22.

Calling all you 'cool cats and kittens' for our first-ever SOCK HOP! Join us for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, snacks, 1950s memorabilia, and swingin' good times! Whether you'd like to participate on the dance floor or you'd rather just come and take in the atmosphere, this is the shindig for YOU.

Be there or be square. We'll catch you on the flip side! For teens (grades 6-12) and adults. You don’t need to register to attend. ✨This event will be at the Hayner Cultural Center, 301 West Main St., Troy, and is in partnership with the Troy Rec.
