🧡💙 A heartfelt message from the Charles Henderson High School Peer Helpers...

The month of September is National Su***de Prevention Month, a time to recognize the warning signs and symptoms that indicate someone may be struggling with suicidal thoughts, and a time to spread the message of hope that things can and do get better. No one should hesitate to talk to someone and seek help for themselves or others they love.

The first step towards getting help is simply by speaking up, whether that means talking to a friend yourself or asking a loved one if they need help. It can be a difficult conversation to have, but normalizing these topics can let people know that it’s OK to look for help.

Charles Henderson High School’s Peer Helpers wanted to share this important message with our community and friends.

It’s vital that we don’t stop sharing it when the month ends. The message of National Su***de Prevention Month is one that everyone needs to hear and take to heart, no matter what time of year it is – suicidal thoughts can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background.

⏰ 2:30–5:30 PM
📍 CHHS Indoor Facility
💲 $40 per child

Participants will spend the afternoon learning cheers, chants, and a dance with the Charles Henderson Cheerleaders!

Whether your child is brand new to cheer or already loves to perform, this clinic is designed for all skill levels!

📣 Cost includes a clinic T-shirt AND the opportunity to perform with the cheerleaders during pregame at our home football game on Friday, October 2nd! 🏈
