One of the best ways to protect yourself from online scams is by using strong passwords. While many people focus on complexity—adding symbols, numbers and capital letters—password length is equally important. A longer password or passphrase is harder for cybercriminals to crack. Create memorable phrases made up of several unrelated words and avoid using personal information like birthdays or pet names. Alabama summer heat is TOUGH on all of us and on our HVAC systems.

When the temp is high outside but low in our homes, these systems are having to work overtime to keep us comfortable. Keeping the gap between the two temperatures as small as we comfortably can gives our HVACs and our energy use a break. Less energy used means more money in your pocket.
