📚 URGENT: Help Us Fill Backpacks for Kids in Need! 🎒

The Roarke Center, part of Catholic Charities Tri-County Services, is in urgent need of back-to-school supplies for our Backpack Program. Right now, 244 families are counting on us - and we simply don’t have enough supplies to meet the need.

You can make a real difference by donating new school supplies today. ✏️📓🖍️

Today is World Art Day, an annual international celebration to promote awareness of creative activity and the importance of art worldwide, coinciding wit the birthday of the famed Leonardo da Vinci. 🎨

Our incredibly talented friend, Jimmy, picture here next to his creations, has been teaching art and creating unqiue and beatiful pieces of artwork at our Roarke Center in Troy for many years. The center, part of our Catholic Charities Tri-County Services agency, offers creative art classes and Jimmy shares he can't remember the last time he missed a day at the center. "This (art) program is very important to me and I love coming here every day," says Jimmy. "I love helping people. I feel love from everyone here, and the peace and joy that art brings to me and others is very comforting." 🖼️
