As we approach the holiday weekend, the teams at Cummings Lumber, Barefoot Flooring, and Barefoot Pellet Company want to take a moment to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Beyond the long weekend and the start of summer, Monday is a sacred day dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We owe our freedom, our community, and our daily lives to their selflessness and courage. Our hearts and deepest gratitude go out to the gold star families who carry their legacy forward.

Please note that our facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026, so that our employees can spend time with their families and properly observe this day of remembrance.

Community Connections at Barefoot Pellet 🌮

We were honored to host the Troy Chamber of Commerce monthly lunch meeting yesterday at our Barefoot Pellet location!

It was a great afternoon featuring a festive Cinco de Mayo themed taco bar—with a special shoutout to Barnstead Pantry for donating the delicious taco seasoning! We also gained some great perspective from guest speaker Matt Williams of the Progress Authority (https://cbprogress.org), who shared updates on the exciting developments happening across Bradford County.

At Cummings Lumber, we believe that a strong community is built through collaboration and supporting our local partners. We are proud to be deeply invested in the future of Troy and the surrounding areas we call home.
