Attention MANE Students!

Interested in networking with professionals? Have a great idea/innovation/research topic? Wouldn't mind some extra cash? Then be sure to sign up for our Elevator Pitch Competition coming up on Saturday, February 3rd in the CBIS Biotech Auditorium.

What's an elevator pitch? For our competition, its a short, 90-second interval to convince a panel of judges of your idea's merit. They'll be looking at presentation, delivery, and, of course, the quality of your idea. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to gain helpful tips from professionals and hone your networking skills.

Did someone mention CASH? A special thank you to our friends at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory for co-sponsoring this event and providing 3-D printed trophies to our top three winners as well as cash prizes of $1000, $750, and $500.

All this networking and entrepreneurship will not only give you invaluable experience, but also help you work up an appetite. Don't worry! Thunder Mountain Curry has you covered and will be providing FREE FOOD!

So stop right now and apply here: http://tiny.cc/MANE_EPC_Info

Tell your friends!

What's up MANE RPI? As the semester winds down, and you finish filling out your course evaluations, don't forget to give us your feedback on how your classes can be improved! We'd love to hear your constructive criticisms and ideas for positive growth in our department. Something we would especially be interested in hearing about is the implementation of Computational Problem Solving in classes such as Engineering Dynamics. Did you think it was well implemented? Contact us at https://manesac.wordpress.com/ to let us know! We pass this information along to the faculty and staff to help shape the MANE curriculum to be better suited for its students. Thanks in advance for your help!
