Yet another great example of Flock doing its job and savings lives! Tale of two cities! Thankfully, we have an administration fighting to keep us from being the wrong one of those two cities and continues protecting public safety. We repeat… don’t let them fool you, this isn’t about privacy, it’s about protecting the criminal and defunding the police.

We are starting to see a pattern emerge as to why some of the socialist council are so against law enforcement and tools essential to their jobs..

One council members son was just arrested on May 11th for the SECOND time in a year!

—criminal sale of a firearm- 1st degree ten/more fi****ms within a year.

Tell us again council member, McKee how we need stricter gun laws? Or, better yet.. maybe tell your son! Would more laws matter when criminals already ignore the existing laws on the books?

Council President, Steele..

—August 6, 2003…Driving with BAC greater than .08, following too closely and leaving the scene! Later arrested at her home. 😳

Perhaps flock like technologies were used to aid in capturing the Council President? We aren’t sure of that but, maybe that’s why she is so afraid of being on camera?

The message is clear… criminals protecting criminals! They don’t care about you or your safety, they care about protecting the criminal and crippling the police!

No one is claiming people can’t make mistakes. But residents are right to question why certain elected officials seem so eager to undermine law enforcement, oppose public safety technology, and criticize the very officers tasked with protecting the community. Public officials should support transparency, accountability, and the tools needed to keep residents safe, not weaken them.

Yet another example of how Flock technology is helping get criminals off the streets. Don’t be fooled by the talking points from the radical left, the concerns here aren’t at all about privacy. At the core, this is about a pro-criminal agenda and the continued push to weaken law enforcement through “defund the police” policies.

Please continue emailing your council members and let them know you support giving our police the tools and resources they need to do their jobs effectively and keep our city safe.

Sorry for the poor quality photos as our focus was on honoring the brave men and women of the Troy Police Department.

However, these photos show two city council members attending the TPD awards breakfast. At first glance, that may not seem significant, but here’s why we’re posting this:

Just over 12 hours before this event, these same council members, along with their fellow council members voted 7-0 on a resolution that represents the first step toward disarming and defunding the very officers they are now publicly honoring. One of the council members was even the sponsor of the legislation.

To us, this is a clear example of playing both sides.

We find it offensive that they would attend a ceremony honoring the TPD while actively supporting policies that would strip officers of essential tools needed to do their jobs safely and effectively. Since taking office, they have consistently pushed measures targeting the department, and we have no reason to believe that agenda will stop.

So we have to ask: is it normal to make a quick public appearance to appear supportive of law enforcement while voting against them behind the scenes? We find that very strange.

Also noticeably absent was the council president. While we may disagree with her position, at least she is being transparent about the fact that she doesn’t support our law enforcement rather than pretending like these 2.

Thankfully, the mayor reiterated her intentions to continue to have the backs of our TPD and not stop fighting for them, our safety and all the tools they need to effectively do their jobs.

Tonight there is a resolution to schedule a public hearing on the socialist councils proposed local law 3. (Regarding restricting the use of flock) This is the first step to bringing this law to a vote. In other words, it is a first step of likely many to disarm our law enforcement and strip them of essential tools and resources to do their jobs.

You will likely see a small crowd that represents a very small minority in our city coming in to speak time and time again. These are radical socialists. These are NOT the everyday, tax paying Trojan. They will stand up and they will spew lies and propaganda regarding the flocks that are simply not true.

The question is… what will our 7 council members do? We especially ask that of Cop Out Katie and Phony Phil who have painted themselves as more moderates, one even claiming to be a conservative to the media.

Will they continue to listen to the small but, vocal minority? Will they continue to ignore our District Attorney (who is a member of their own party) and our entire TPD? Our Districts 1 and 3 residents do NOT support this defund the police movement. Will their council reps actually listen to ALL and not just members of their own party? We would ask the same of D5, 2 and 6 as we know those residents also do not support their defund the police agenda, but we already know how far on the left they stand and are not willing to work with their local law enforcement and constituents who disagree with them.

CALL TO ACTION IF YOU SUPPORT PUBLIC SAFETY IN THE CITY OF TROY

Democrat Councilmember Noreen McKee with the support of Council President Steele and the Dem majority on the Troy City Council is putting forward legislation that handcuffs our police from doing their job. The limitations being put on the use of license plate readers in the City would bar police use for crimes like larceny, criminal mischief, shots fired incidents, stalking, assault, domestic violence, and even sexual abuse.

This is not what everyday people in Troy want. They want to know if their child is kidnapped they don’t have some misguided politician getting in their way.

Fellow democrats including District Attorney Mary Pat Donnelly have spoke out again this! “Limiting access to critical investigative tools like ALPRs will only make it harder to deliver justice for victims,” Says our DA, a
fellow Dem! Because it’s just common sense!

Help Mayor Mantello stop the effort to defund and handcuff our police to keep Troy a safe place for all. Reach out to your Councilmember, come to this Thursdays meeting and speak out!

The Flock camera system has received strong bipartisan support across the city and in many other communities that use it. We want to thank our District Attorney for showing common sense and standing with our mayor, her administration, and the Troy Police Department on this issue.

Only a relatively small but very vocal group of radical left, pro criminal, defund the police socialists oppose these tools. While they may be disruptive, they do not represent the majority of residents who prioritize safety. Public safety should always come first, and we should all want law enforcement to have the tools and resources they need to do their jobs as effectively as possible.

We urge and implore the entire City Council to make a stronger effort to better understand law enforcement, public safety, their needs and the realities they face every day. Taking part in ride alongs, engaging in open dialogue, and working more closely with officers could be a meaningful first step.

Right now, there appears to be a disconnect between the Council and the demands of public safety work. We hope they will take the time to listen, learn, and engage more directly so they can make informed decisions that truly reflect the needs of the community and the constituents they were elected to represent. Not continue to push their own radical agenda.

Thank you to these brave, young heroes in our very own community!

Several good Samaritans stepped in to help during the deadly house fire in Troy on Wednesday. Among those individuals were several kids who came across the fire and decided to step in to help. Link in the comments.
