**UPDATE**
The leak has been repaired, and it has been confirmed that residents did not experience any service outages. A huge thank you to our Public Works team for their prompt response and for completing the repair in a timely manner.

A water main break has occurred in the area of 6th Street. Some residents may experience low water pressure or loss of water while repairs are being completed. We appreciate your patience as crews work to resolve the issue.

The city of Troy Water Department is responding to a water Main Break today in the area of Main Street.

Residents in the area below will likely experience low water pressure while crews are repairing the break.

Crews are currently working on the break , but do not have an estimated time to completion at this moment.

The Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 would like to congratulate Firefighter/ Paramedic Cameron Spires with successfully completing his 1-year probationary period. FF Spires completed all the requirements of his probationary period including completing his probationary firefighter task book. We are hopeful that Cameron has a long and successful career with our district. Congratulations Cameron.

The Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 would like to welcome our 2 newest career members, FF/Medic N. Bathe and FF/Medic T. Randazzo. FF. Bathe has previously worked for a local ambulance district as a paramedic and for a city fire department in St. Louis County as a Firefighter/Paramedic. FF. Bathe has been assigned to A-Shift. FF. Randazzo recently completed his paramedic certification. FF Randazzo will be assigned to C-Shift. The Lincoln County Fire Protection District #1 Board of Directors and members wish FF. Bathe and Randazzo a safe and prosperous career with our district.

Route J in Lincoln County is NOW OPEN following the completion of a bridge replacement project, over Big Creek, 0.2 mile south of Route U, near Troy. See link for details: www.modot.org/node/93808

UPDATE (7-22-26 @ 4:00 pm): Missouri Route 47 in Lincoln County is NOW OPEN to traffic after a short-term closure for a culvert replacement, located at the Routes A/D intersection in Hawk Point.

REMINDER: Beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 27, MO 47 will close again to replace another crossroad culvert, located approximately 0.25 mile east of the Routes A/D intersection in Hawk Point; this closure is expected to last approximately five working days. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Last night, our crews responded to a fire involving a multi-family residential building.
This photo shows the sprinkler system doing exactly what it was designed to do: control the fire, slow its spread, and buy time for residents to escape and firefighters to complete extinguishment.
Six families made it out safely. That is not luck. That is the result of fire protection systems, and life safety measures built from hard lessons learned in real fires.
Last night was a clear reminder of why that work matters. We are grateful for the quick actions of the occupants, the hard work of our firefighters, and the systems that helped keep this fire from becoming far worse.
